Golden Club in the Watergarden

Caladiums in the watergarden

This plant is just a year old, and it is already flowering.

A hardy plant, it just needs water an inch or less over the planting container to be happy. The leaves are green all summer long and die back in the winter.

These yellow flowers will lay down into the water and produce seeds about ¾ of an inch across that will sprout next spring.

It doesn't take over your pond, so is nice for a smaller water garden.

Here is another picture of this unusual Golden Club plant.

By the way, if you are curious, that's Four Leaf Clover leaves on the surface of the water just getting started.
